91���� has been crowned the Fund of the Year at the Super Review SuperRatings Annual Super Fund of the Year Awards 2024.

Aware also won three other major awards: Best Digital Offering, the Smooth Ride award and MyChoice Super of the Year.

The Fund of the Year award was judged across all the products 91���� offers, with consideration given to investment performance and processes, fees, insurance, administration capabilities, member servicing and governance practices.

Aware has now been awarded the super fund of the year by both Superratings and Chant West in 2024.

91���� CEO Deanne Stewart said the awards were a testament to the dedication and member focus of everyone at Aware.

“This is an amazing recognition of all the people at Aware and their daily dedication to growing the savings of the fund’s more than 1.15 million members and helping them achieve their goals for retirement.

Ms Stewart said as well as winning the top award, it was particularly pleasing to have won the Best Digital Offering award.

“We have undertaken a major transformation in the past few years to ensure that we are leading the industry in adopting digital solutions to ensure our members can get great help, education and advice,” Ms Stewart said.

Aware’s award-winning app and online portal enables members to initiate or request 29 transactions digitally and our free My Retirement Planner tool helps members and non-members alike assess how they are tracking towards their retirement goals.

We’ve also built a next-generation investment platform to deliver a single, streamlined investment menu and equip us to deliver greater returns and lower fees for our members.

The Fund of the Year was awarded to the best fund judged across all the products it offers, with consideration given to its investment performance and processes, fees, insurance offering, administration capabilities, member servicing and governance practices.

The Best Digital Offering award was based on the range, capability and uptake of digital services by our members across online portals, apps and digital contact and administration services.

The Smooth Ride award is based on the volatility of investment returns across a range of investment options and time periods. Greater weight is given to longer time periods and options where most members are invested. 91����, with the lowest level of volatility, was determined to be the winner of the award.

The MyChoice Super of the Year award was won on the strength of Aware’s investment options relative to its peers, with consideration given to investment performance and processes, fees, insurance offering, administration capabilities, member servicing and governance practices.

The winners of the Super Review Superratings Awards were selected by a judging panel of academics, business executives, entrepreneurs, and innovators, using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies and underpinned by SuperRatings’ annual review.
